Michelle Gibson

This dynamic young artist photographs without preconception, enabling viewers to see her subjects in their unguarded state. In her various series, viewers can feel a motif that runs through the expedition.  Originally from Toronto, Canada, Michelle moved to San Francisco where she discovered artistic expression and followed her instinctual eye.  Her images have been published in editorial magazines, brochures and books such as Photo Life Magazine and San Francisco’s Bay Area Art Book, Incredible Eyes. Michelle’s schooling in photography accompanies her BA in Psychology and a previous career in Human Resources.   She earns the trust of her subjects which leads to the interplay so pivotal to her signature style.  Currently, Michelle is an editorial and fine art photographer in Toronto.  She continues to photograph her favourite subjects - people - and to pursue other personal photographic projects. - http://www.michellegibsonphoto.com/
